Heartbreak is like walking on broken glass that is on fire
Where the water simmers off before it reaches your lips
Like being trapped in a casket that is underneath the forgotten sea
Hope is like the finite bubbles fleeing to the surface
You can’t survive this deep
You’re walking downstairs
The pearly gates of hell await you there
Your bed awaits your arrival
Of divine design that’ll map out the maze in your mind
An ending never ends, you only suffer another time
A collective effort to spell out your mistakes
You will never be good enough to escape this
The undying notes won’t be played
Instead, it will be heard in silence
The sort of silence that beats itself into the hearts of broken angels
Rage is dying once again, laughter is heard through a bleeding ear
The crimson flood runs deep in the soul where the ebony seas reside
Floods bloody than silence, a laughter no longer echoes through the eardrum
We float into a forever of nothingness
